Nestled on the outskirts of Valladolid, Villas Vallazoo offers a unique blend of comfort and modest luxury. My three-night stay revealed a well-kept secret — a spacious room resembling a Safari lodge, with essential facilities like a microwave, coffee machine, and mini-fridge, making it perfect for families. What impressed me was the serene environment. The pool, conveniently located just outside my room, added to the allure of the beautifully maintained grounds. Despite a nearby zoo appearing a touch run-down, it provided complimentary entry and was surprisingly expansive, featuring a fascinating array of animals. The hotel’s location might be a bit off the beaten path; however, it only required a short drive to reach the enchanting town of Valladolid, known for its culinary delights. A word of caution: without your own transport, accessing local attractions could be challenging. While there was a restaurant on-site — although limited in hours — the staff went above and beyond to cater to our needs, serving us during closing hours. In the grand scheme, Villas Vallazoo strikes a commendable balance of luxury and value, particularly appealing for families seeking tranquillity while exploring Mexico.
